چکیده

Infectious bursal disease (IBD), caused by infectious virus (IBDV), is one among the top five diseases of poultry that discernibly affects commercial industry. The mutating viral genome IBDV accounts for outbreaks in fields even after following stringent biosecurity measures and vaccination protocols. present study focussed on characterisation an field virus, IBD/CVAS/6, from a vaccinated flock Kerala, based sequence analysis VP1, VP2 VP3 genes. Bursa Fabricius samples collected 26 days-old chicken suspected outbreak Thiruvananthapuram district Kerala formed subject study. Reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) targeting gene confirmed presence sample. revealed deduced amino acid VP1 IBD/CVAS/6 was 100 per cent homologous with attenuated very virulent vaccine strain Israel, mb Ventri plus India. also similarity strains except single variation S745N its sequence. phylogenetic it’s close relation mb, ks. characteristic marker motifs ‘SWSASGS’ ‘TDN’ were genes, respectively. Hence, obtained has emerged hence report involvement intermediate Kerala. role virulence cannot be accounted study, however might related to or variations other genes due inefficiency protocol followed, which can defined only further studies. first focussing IBDV.

Cloning and sequence analysis of VP1, VP2 and VP3 genes of Indian chicken anemia virus

Chicken anemia virus was detected by PCR in tissue samples collected from poultry flocks in Gujarat,India. The VP1, VP2 and VP3 gene sequences of CAV from Anand, Gujarat were obtained after cloning thePCR products in pDrive cloning vector. Nucleotide sequence alignment with other CAV sequencesdemonstrated overall identity of 95-98.8%, 98.8-99.8% and 98.8-100% for VP1, VP2 and VP3 regions,respec...

Sequence analysis of the VP1 gene in three very virulent Iranian infectious bursal disease virus strains

Infectious bursal disease (IBD) is a highly contagious disease of chickens caused by the infectious bursal disease virus (IBDV). This study was conducted to characterize three IBDV strains from Iran. A reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) procedure was used to amplify a 715-bp fragment of the VP1 gene from IBDV strains. Amplified VP1 fragments of the three Iranian IBDV strai...

Expression, purification and glycosylation analysis of chicken infectious bursal disease virus VP2 in yeast

Infectious bursal disease (IBD), a highly contagious and devastating disease in young chicken, is causedby infectious bursal disease virus (IBDV). To improve the immunogenicity of recombinant IBDV subunitvaccine, an attempt was made to find a new way to prepare IBD vaccine containing glycosylated mVP2antigen. Firstly, IBDV mVP2 gene (with a nucleic acid sequence encoding B cell epitope of IBDV(...

Cloning and Expression of VP2 Gene of Infectious Bursal Disease Virus in Eukaryotic Cells

Infectious bursal disease (IBD) is an economically important viral disease of chickens with worldwide distribution which suppresses the immune system of young chickens. VP2 is the major host-protective protein of infectious bursal disease virus (IBDV). The encoding region of VP2 protein was PCR amplified from a plasmid containing a cDNA fragment of large genomic segment of IBDV, strain D78. Thi...
